Pop Music

Song Parade - Pop MusicPop, short for popular music, refers to a specific traits of tunes such as a danceable beat, simple melodies, and repetitive structure so that people can catch on in easily. Early forms of pop music began with Ragtime, swing, and jazz — any music form that does not conform with the classical standard.

But it was in the ’50s and 60s that the catch phrase Pop really boomed with bubblegum tunes popularized by iconic musicians singing the rock n’ roll.
