Song Parade

Privacy

What Song Parade keeps about you, why, with whom, and for how long. In short: your answers and songs are kept to make your song and improve the app; photos made into a video on your phone never reach us; nothing is sold or used for ads.

Version of 15 October 2026 (2)

What you give us

Your first name and language; your answers about the person the song is for; the lyrics, the songs and the choices you make in the app; and what you tell us with Tell us. If you answer by voice, we keep the words, not the recording. We use all this to make your song and its video, to answer you, and to improve Song Parade.

Your photos

When your video is made on your phone, your photos, clips and the video stay there: we never receive them, unless you ask the AI to place them. Then small copies of them are sent to us and to an AI service that describes them; we delete the copies as soon as it has answered and keep only its notes, with the song. The service doesn't train on them and keeps them only a short while, for safety checks. When we make your video instead, the photos and clips it uses are sent to us and kept privately, only to make it; an AI looks at them only if you agreed to it.

Who else handles it

A few companies help us run Song Parade: AI services that write the lyrics, sing them and help plan the video; services that host the app and store its files; and a payment provider, which sells you the Studio Master as merchant of record: it takes your card (it never reaches us), collects the tax and sends your receipt (we keep only a record of the payment, your consent, and the email you give it, to send you your link if you lose it). We don't sell your data or use it for ads.

Links you share

If you send your video as a link, anyone with the link can watch it on songparade.com until you turn the link off or delete the song. The page counts how often it's watched, without cookies and without recording who watches.

Asking for an invite

If you ask for an invite on songparade.com, we keep your email address, when you asked and the page you came from, to send you an invite. If you ask for your link again, we keep the email you give until we've sent it.

Cookies and storage

One cookie keeps you signed in with your link, for 60 days after your last visit. Your phone's browser keeps your pictures and videos for the app. No advertising or tracking cookies.

How long we keep it

While Song Parade is being tested, what you give us is kept until the test ends, then deleted. Sooner if you like: Delete this song removes a song and everything made for it, and you can ask us to delete everything you gave us. Payment records are kept as long as the law requires for our accounts.

The app's log

To fix problems and help you, the app keeps a log of what happens in it: the screens you open, the steps of each song, errors, and the kind of phone and browser you use. It never holds your photos, your lyrics or what you type, and each day of it is deleted after 30 days.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct, download or delete your data, or object to how we use it. If you live in the EU, you can also complain to your data protection authority (in France, the CNIL).

Children

Song Parade is for adults. Songs are often for children: their names, stories and photos come from the adults who make them.
